Jordan Hargrave, President
jordanh@greenecountychildcare.org

Hi everyone! My name is Jordan Hargrave, and my son attends GCCCC and my daughter will begin when she's old enough. I am originally from Danville, VA but moved to the area years ago to attend UVA. I decided to stick around and love calling Greene County home. I work for my husband's business, and in my spare time, I enjoy running, hiking, and spending time with my family.
My husband and I are so grateful to have found GCCCC for our son and are pleased with the quality of care and warm and loving environment. We have watched our son grow both socially and academically since starting in 2021. I joined the board because I believe GCCCC is an asset to our community and want to help however I can.
Amanda Krumpach, Vice President

My name is Amanda Krumpach and my two children attend GCCCC where they've blossomed in friendships, emotional and social skills, and are growing in knowledge under the care of nurturing teachers and staff. Our family moved to Greene County in 2011 and have enjoyed becoming part of this community that is now our home. I work at a company that specializes in providing learning experiences outside of the classroom and am a former elementary teacher. I appreciate how hard our center works at providing learning and growth opportunities that meet all our children's needs. As a board member, I look forward to working closely with parents and staff to ensure everyone is supported and thriving.
Chelsea "CJ" Shifflett, Secretary

My name is Chelsea "CJ" Shifflett and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and mother of two. I joined the Board of Directors at Greene County Childcare Center in September 2022, immediately following my daughter's enrollment. I was so impressed with GCCCC's communication and organization at the inquiry phase, and once I took my tour, GCCCC felt like home. I knew I wanted to be a part of this community and give back in any way I could, so the Board provided the perfect opportunity to help with decision-making, policy development, and actioning feedback. I look forward to applying my strengths to the Secretary position to provide accurate concurrent documentation and support onboarding for GCCCC Staff and Board members.
Katie Marquez, Member

Our family has been part of the GCCCC community for several years, beginning when my son joined the 3s program and stayed through Pre-K until Kindergarten. My youngest daughter has been attending since 2024, starting in the toddler class, and my oldest daughter participates in the school-age drop-in program. We've consistently been impressed by the caring staff, open communication, and the supportive environment GCCCC provides. As a pediatric registered nurse, I'm passionate about child development and family-centered care. I’m excited to bring my professional background and personal experience as a parent to the board and look forward to supporting GCCCC in continuing its mission. Being part of this community has meant so much to our family, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to give back.

My name is Kahla Williams, and I am proud to serve as a board member for Greene County Child Care Center. As a mother of three children who attend GCCCC, I have a personal and passionate connection to the center and its mission. I've lived in Greene County for almost six years, and I am deeply committed to helping cultivate children who will one day become vital members of our community. My involvement is driven by a desire to support and enhance the educational and developmental experiences of the children at GCCCC, ensuring they have the foundation to thrive and positively impact Greene County in the future.
Corinne Beasley, Member
corinneb@greenecountychildcare.org
My name is Corinne Beasley, and I’m the proud mom of two daughters who have been part of GCCCC since January 2024. I joined the board in 2025 because I wanted to be more involved in their education and in supporting our school community. I am very grateful for the warm, approachable nature of GCCCC’s teachers and staff and am excited for my daughters to continue their journey here.
I currently teach 5th grade Literacy in Greene County and am in my second year here. Altogether, I’ve been teaching for seven years in Virginia. As both a teacher and a parent, I am passionate about fostering a love of learning and believe strongly in the value of education at every stage. I’m excited to bring that passion to my work on the board.
